Constable Martin extended his passion by utilizing it to strengthen the partnership between the Police and citizens especially with the young men in his age group. Since being the leader of the Youth Club, he has boosted the membership from thirty to over eighty (80).

He has initiated an Outreach Department which has conducted several activities such as the

  • Refurbishing of the Mike Town and Comfort Basic Schools,
  • Annual feeding program for the homeless and
  • An annual 5K Run/Walk the funds from which are donated the Mandeville Regional Hospital, Percy Junor Hospital and the Manchester Health Department.

He has also facilitated several mentorship programs which are geared at keeping young men engaged and as a medium of expending their energies.

Constable Martin’s work, worth and conduct is exemplary and as such he was awarded by the Division in January 2018 for Outstanding Contribution to Community Policing. He has no disciplinary charges pending or preferred against him. There are no adverse entries or complaint made by the public or members of staff.

Constable Martin enjoys excellent working relationship by harnessing the confidence and trust of both his internal and external customers.

He is of Christian belief and lives by the philosophy Philippians 4:13 “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” and Corinthians 13:13 “And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.”
