Supermarket Attendant Murdered in Westmoreland

Westmoreland, Jamaica (McKoy’s News) – Supermarket Attendant Murdered in Westmoreland: The Sav-la-mar police in the parish of Westmoreland are now carrying out investigations into the motive surrounding the shooting death of a Supermarket Attendant.

The Attendant was shot and killed by a lone gunman inside the supermarket where he worked along Great Georges Street in Sav La Mar on Wednesday (August 15, 2017) morning.

The victim has since been identified as 22-yr-old Ochille Hall, who hailed from Church Lincoln in Grange Hill but resided at New Market Oval in Sav- la-mar.

Reports are that about 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, Hall was doing his regular duties at the D & S Supermarket, 90 Great Georges Street where he was employed. Minutes later a man walked over to him and immediately brandished a handgun.

The man fired a barrage of gunshots, hitting Hall all over his body before making a hasty retreat from the supermarket.

The Sav-la-mar police were summoned and upon arrival, the wounded man was rushed to the Sav-la-mar Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
