Students Robbed at Gunpoint, Conductor Arrested and Charged

Latest Jamaica News, St Ann (McKoy’s News): Students Robbed at Gunpoint Three students were robbed at gunpoint by a man said to be a conductor in St Ann earlier this month at about 7p.m. as they walked on a footpath in Browns Town, also in St Ann, on October 3.

According to police reports, the gunman identified as Marlon Cunningham, a 21-year-old bus conductor, of Cave Valley and York Castle Drive, in the parish, has been arrested during an operation on October 10 and charged for illegal possession of firearm and robbery with aggravation.

Allegations are that the students were held up at gunpoint while on their way home from school. The Brown’s Town Police say Cunningham was placed on an identification parade and was formally charged after he was pointed out by the students.

Marlon is booked to appear before the St Ann Parish Court on Monday, October 28, 2019.
