Street Vendor Shot and Killed in Westmoreland

Montego Bay, Jamaica (McKoy’s News) – Street Vendor Shot and Killed: The police in Westmoreland are now carrying out investigations into the shooting death of a street vendor in  Petersfield on Monday night.

The victim they say, is known so far, only as Pringleman, a 45-year-old street vendor,  from Morras Road, also in Westmoreland.

Reports are that shortly after 11:30 pm on Monday, the victim was in  Petersfield Square, when a barrage of gunfire was heard. Residents went to investigate and discovered him lying in a pool of blood on the steps of a popular haberdashery store.

Upon the arrival of the police,  it was discovered that the victim had multiple gunshot wounds to his upper body. He was rushed to the Savanna-la-mar hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
