Jamaica Crime News, Montego Bay: Street Person Stabbed The Barnett Street police in Montego Bay, St. James are now in search of a taxi operator who viciously stabbed a male street person almost to death in the second city on Thursday, March 28.

The wounded man has since been transported to the Cornwall Regional Hospital in serious condition.

Reports are that shortly after 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, the taxi operator was driving down a section of Barnett Lane, when he came upon the male street person, who he claimed was blocking the roadway with his body.

The taxi operator shouted at the victim to get out of the road, but instead, the victim turned and shouted back at the driver.

The taxi man jumped from his car and brandished a knife, which he used to inflict several stab wounds to the victim’s upper body.

The wounded man fell to the ground in a pool of blood. The police were later summoned and upon their arrival, the wounded man was transported to hospital in the rear of a police service vehicle.
