Jamaica News, Kingston: Police personnel in Kingston Central have now launched an investigation, surrounding the discovery of the fetus of a six months old baby in the downtown area on Tuesday morning, May 22.
Our news team learnt that, shortly after 7:00 a.m., residents living at a section of the area known as Maiden Lane saw a number of stray dogs in possession of what resembled the body of a new born baby.
The concern residents managed to take away the fetus from the dogs and alerted the police.
Upon arrival the lawmen transported the fetus to the hospital where it was examined and the police were informed that it was at least six months old.
The police they are also now awaiting a post mortem examination result.
