Jamaica News, April 19, 2018 – St Thomas Mason Caught with Ganja
St Thomas, Jamaica(McKoy’s News) – A St Thomas Mason who was caught at the Norman Manley International Airport in Kingston on Tuesday afternoon, April 17, attempting to smuggle ganja out of the island, was later arrested and charged with Breaches of the Dangerous Act.
Charged with Possession of, Taking steps to export and Conspiracy to export ganja is 32-year-old Rohan Graham of Yallahs in St Thomas.
Reports are that, shortly after 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Graham was in the process of boarding a flight at the Norman Manley Airport destined for Barbados.
On reaching the security checkpoint, the Airport security noticed irregularities in his suitcase while it was going through the x-ray machine. Following a check of the suitcase, the police discovered a secret compartment which contained ganja weighing over 4 pounds.
The accused was taken into custody and subsequently slapped with charges. He is booked to appear in court on Monday, April 22.
