St Thomas Farmer Perish in Motorcycle Accident

Jamaica News, St Thomas: The Bulls Bay Police in the parish of St Andrew say they are now asking members of the public for assistance, to locate the driver of a Toyota Motor Truck who was involved in a motor vehicle accident which claimed the life of a motorcyclist on Tuesday, May 15.

Dead is Lloyd Muir 78-year-old Farmer of 11 Miles in St Thomas.

According to the police about 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, Muir was riding his motorcycle along a section of the Bulls Bay main road towards St Thomas.

On reaching a section of the roadway, he lost control of the motorcycle which crashed into the rear of the Toyota motor truck.

Muir was thrown into the pavement and he was then run over by the driver of a Ford motor truck who was travelling close behind. The driver of the Toyota motor truck reportedly drove away from the scene.

The police were summoned and upon arrival, the driver of the Ford motor truck gave his report and he was warned for prosecution.

Muir was transported to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
