Jamaica News: The police in the parish of St Mary say it has not been three long months and they have not yet able to make a breakthrough into the identities of the three female exotic dancers, who lost their lives in a fire which destroyed the Bad Fowl Night club in Trinity District in St Mary on Thursday morning of April 3rd.
The investigators further stated that, they have sought the assistance of the public on numerous of occasions but no-one has come forward to identify the dead females. They also stated that up to date all they were able to get for the victims are three, aliases, which were passed around from one dancer to another.
One investigator stated that when it comes to identifying exotic dancers or women of the night it has always been a challenge, based on the fact that these dancers have been in the profession for relatively long periods and constantly migrates across the Island from one club to another.
He also stated that these dancers would give each other names from popular sweets, flower or fruit and they are known only by these names at their place of work and never by their real names at birth.
The fire was discovered at the club about 3:00 am, on Thursday April 3rd, after residents in Trinity District in Port Maria saw fire coming from the board and concrete building which house Bad Fowl Bar and Exotic night club .
The police and the Fire Department were alerted and upon arrival it took the fire men quite some time to put out the blaze. The building was partially destroyed when they reached their cooling down procedures.
Following the fire a search was carried out of the burnt building and the discovery made of the three charred bodies which were burnt beyond recognition. They were all transported to hospital where they were pronounced dead.
