St Mary, Jamaica (McKoy’s News) – St Mary Man Murdered: The Annotto Bay Police in St Mary are probing the gun-slaying of a man in his community last evening.
Dead is 45-year-old Richard Bignold of Crooked River in the parish.
Police reports are that about 7:00 p.m., Mr. Bignold was riding his bicycle accompanied by his family along a dirt track, when he was pounced upon by a man armed with a gun.
The man opened gunfire hitting him in the head and abdomen.
No one else was hurt.
He was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
