St Ann, Jamaica (Mckoy’s News) – Murder of Ocho Rios Lawyer: the St Ann police have confirmed that a man who was wanted as a person of interest in the murder of Lois Ferguson-Mckoy, an attorney-at-law known as Neo Makeba, killed in her Ocho Rios apartment.
St. Ann Police charged Anthony Nicholson, otherwise called ‘Nattoney,’ 28-year-old with the murder.
Nicholson, who originates from Frazerwood district in Highgate, St Mary, was living with Ferguson, who is also an active civil rights activist, at the time of his murder as a condition of his bail in a case before the St Mary Parish Court.
Police say Anthony Nicholson turned himself over to police on Thursday, January 25.
He was charged later on Thursday, February 1, with the murder of Lois Ferguson.
He is scheduled to appear before the St Ann Parish Court next week.
Lois Ferguson-Mckoy was a returning resident from the United Kingdom.
