Montego Bay, Jamaica (McKoy’s News) – St James Records Second Murder: On Thursday evening, the parish of St James recorded the second murder since the start of the year.
This latest murder has now left the Barnett Street police seeking the public assistance to identify the victim who was shot and killed by unknown assailants along Creek Street.
The police say the victim is believed to be in his early twenties, Bleached Brown Complexion and about 6ft tall.
He was clad in a dark hoody shirt, white merino, burgundy shorts and grey Adidas sneakers. The victim also had a tattoo on his left arm.
Reports by the police are that shortly after 6:00 pm, the officers at the Barnett Street station were alerted to a barrage of gunshots being fired along Creek Street.
They rushed to the area and upon arrival at the One Stop garage, they discovered the victim who was lying along the roadway in a pool of blood. He had been shot over six times to his upper body.
He was transported to the Cornwall Regional Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
