Jamaica Crime News, St James: The parish of St James recorded 100 murders on Boxing Day, December 26.
The latest male victim, who still remains unidentified, was discovered shot to death in the Cambridge policing area.
Reports by the Cambridge Police are that about 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, residents living in Seven Rivers Farm in Cambridge, stumbled upon the body and alerted them.
Upon their arrival, the victim who suffered a broken left arm which was in a cast, was discovered lying in his back in a ditch with gunshot wounds to his eye and mouth.
The victim appears to be in his early thirties. He was clad in shorts, red underpants, and a yellow, black and green polo shirt.
Only a few days ago, 27-year-old Mark Reynolds, laborer of Buena Vista district in Anchovy policing area was shot and killed in his community by gunmen.
Reports by the police are that about 1:00 p.m., Reynolds was walking along the roadway in his community when he was ambushed and shot by two armed men.
The police were summoned and upon arrival, the victim was transported to the Cornwall Regional Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The Anchovy and Montego Bay Freeport police say they are still carrying out investigations into these latest murders.
