St James Police Seeking Assistance to Identify Man Murdered in Retirement

Jamaica Crime News, St James: The Granville police in St. James, say they are again asking members of the public for their assistance, to identify the body of a man, who was shot and killed at Ply Lane, in Retirement community, on Wednesday,  April 3.

The lawmen reported that the unidentified male who appeared to be in his early 40s, is of dark complexion, slim built and about 5ft-10ins tall.

The victim was clad in white merino and a pair of blue shorts.

Reports by the Granville police are that about 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, residents reported hearing gunshots being fired from the directions of Phase 2, in Retirement Housing Scheme.

The police rushed to the scene and came upon the unidentified male, who was discovered lying along the roadway suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

He was rushed to the Cornwall Regional Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Anyone who can assist the police is being asked to contact the Granville police or the nearest police station.
