Jamaica Crime News, St James: The Freeport and Barnett Street police in Montego Bay, St James, say they are now asking members of the public for their assistance, to identify the body of a man which was fished from the sea, off the shores of Fisherman’s Beach on Tuesday morning, December 25.
The police say the victim who is believed to be in his early thirties, is of dark complexion, about 5-feet 9-ins and was clad in a white T-shirt, black shorts and Grey shoes.
Reports are that about 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, a fisherman saw the body floating in the water, off to the shores of the Fisherman’s Beach, along Howard Cooke Boulevard and alerted the marine police.
The Marine officers sailed to the location and fished the body of the male from the scene.
Investigators say they are now awaiting a post-mortem examination result to determine the cause of death.
