Accused St James Killer out on Bail Charged with Killing Again

Westmoreland, Jamaica (Mckoy’s News)St James Killer out on Bail: the Westmoreland police have reported that they have now laid murder charges against a St James man for the murder of another man in the parish on Friday, January 19.

 

He has been identified as Abastanli Williams of a Pitfour address in Granville district, St James.

 

Williams is being charged with the murder of Adrian Williams, 57-year-old Electrical Technician of Rocky Hill in Sheffield, Westmoreland.

 

Reports are that about 7:30 pm., on Friday January 19, Adrian Williams got involved in an argument with two men, one of whom is identified to be the accused. It is further stated that there was a long-standing dispute between the deceased and the men for some time now. During the dispute, one of the men identified as Abastani Williams, drew a handgun and shot Adrian Williams several times to his upper body, before fleeing the scene.

 

Following an intensive investigation  by the Negril  police Williams was apprehended in Savanna la Mar, in the parish of Westmoreland on Friday February 5. He was officially charged over this weekend, with murder and illegal possession of firearm and ammunition.

 

Police report that at the time of his arrest Abastanli Williams, out of custody on bail and facing murder charges of another man,  Neville Perth.
