St James: Men Working in Red Dirt, Flankers Shot-Up and Killed

St. James, Jamaica (McN) – The Freeport Police in Montego Bay, St James are now carrying out investigations behind the shooting death of two construction workers in the Flankers community on Tuesday afternoon.

Dead are Robert Pearson otherwise called Bully, 35-year-old of Poinciana Drive in Granville and Willy Binns 49 years old of Red Dirt, Flankers.

Reports are that about 12:30 pm on Tuesday, Pearson  traveled to Red Dirt in Flankers and was carrying out construction work on his baby mother’s house. He was then joined by Binns.

While working they were attacked by the three armed men who opened fire on them, hitting them all over their bodies.

The gunmen then escaped in the area on foot.

The police were summoned and upon arrival both victims were rushed to the Cornwall Regional Hospital where they were pronounced dead on arrival.
