St James Man Wanted for Murder Captured in Rose Heights

Montego Bay, Jamaica(Mckoys News)- St James Man Wanted: Two men who are said to be brothers, one of whom the St James police say was being sought for murder and shooting with intent, were taken into custody  on Wednesday morning. Investigations say an illegal firearm and several rounds of ammunition were also seized.

The Freeport police reported that the identities of the men in question cannot be released at this time,  as they will have to face a series of Identification Parades.

Reports by the police are that  at about 6:30 am on Wednesday morning, November 8, a team of police attached to the Montego Bay Freeport station, carried out a search at a section of Sean Crescent in Rose Heights, known as Palm Street.

The lawmen, armed with a warrant, carried out a search of a house which was occupied by both brothers,  including the one who was being sought for murder and shooting.

The brothers, who are said to be in their early twenties, were taken into custody, and a search of the house led to the discovery of a 9mm semi automatic pistol,  containing 7 live 9 mm rounds.
