Montego Bay, Jamaica (McKoy’s News) – St James Man Facing Identification Parades: A St James man who was arrested and charged with Illegal Possession of Firearm and Ammunition on Tuesday, July 12th, following the discovery of an illegal gun at his house, may now find himself in more trouble with the law.
The police have indicated that the accused man will now be placed before a series of identification parades and could find himself facing additional charges.
The Granville police reported that on Tuesday a team of officers armed with a warrant went to a house occupied by the accused man in a section of Johns Hall known as Village and carried out a search.
During the search of the house, a 9mm semi-automatic pistol loaded with several rounds was discovered.
The accused was taken into custody and later charged.
The police now say that this same weapon may have been used to carry out a number of crimes including murder.
The accused man will now face a series of identification parades this weekend.
