St James Man Dies in Bloody St Ann Crash

Jamaica News, St Ann: A St James man died from injuries he sustained in a bloody motor vehicle accident, which occurred along a section of the Priory Main Road, in St. Ann, on Sunday, March 24.

Dead is 46-year-old Rohan Jones of Farm Heights in Montego Bay, St James.

Reports by the St Ann police are that about 8:30 p.m., Jones was driving a Toyota Tacoma pickup truck from the directions of St Ann Bay.

On reaching a section of the roadway, Jones lost control of the vehicle which crashed into the rear of a parked trailer.

Jones sustained head and body injuries, and was pinned in the wrecked vehicle for several hours.

The police were summoned, and after they managed to cut him free from the wreckage, Jones was transported to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
