St James, Jamaica (McKoy’s News) – St James Man Charged with Murder: A 23-yr-old St James man who appeared in the St James parish Court on Thursday, December 7, 2017, to answer to charges of murder committed in Catadupa District on December 18, 2016, was remanded into custody.

The accused who was recently taken into custody on one count of murder is booked to reappear before the St James Parish Court next Thursday, December 14, 2017.

23-yr-old Kevon Brown, unemployed of Catadupa District entered a not guilty plea to the murder of Carlyle Hylton of the said address. It is reported that on the night of December 18, 2016, Brown, who was armed with an illegal firearm, allegedly went to the home of the deceased in Catadupa District where he shot and killed him.

Following investigations, Brown was taken into custody and subsequently slapped with charges.
