Jamaica News, March 31, 2018 – Lilliput Man Killed on Good Friday

St James, Jamaica (Mckoy’s News) – As Good Friday afternoon came to a close, the parish St James again erupted into bloodshed and murder as gunmen struck again in the community of Lilliput.

The latest victim to be killed by gunmen in the parish has been identified as King Brissett, 37-year-old, unemployed of Bob Man Road also in Lilliput.

Reports by the Freeport police are that shortly after 6:00 p.m., on Friday, March 30, Brissett was at his house in Lilliput when he was ambushed by a lone gunman.

Brissett ran from the house but he was chased by the gunman who caught up with him and shot him multiple times to his upper body and head.

The gunman then made his escape in the area on foot.

The police were alerted and upon arrival, the wounded man was discovered lying face down in a pool of blood with multiple gunshot wounds.  He was transported to the Cornwall Regional Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
