Latest Jamaica News, St James: Female Teacher Robbed The Spring Mount police in the parish of St James, are now in search of three men, who robbed a female teacher of cash and valuables, amounting to over $250,000, on Saturday, July 7.

The 50-year-old teacher, who hails from Port district, in the Spring Mount area, was also robbed of her 2012 Nissan Tida motor car, which was later found abandoned, at a section of the same community.

Reports are that, on Saturday about 7:30 p.m., the teaches drove into her yard at Port district and parked her vehicle. She was about to enter her house when she was pounced upon by three men, two of whom were armed with handguns.

The robbers proceeded to rob her of cash amounting to over $80,000.

She was also robbed of a portion of jewelry and three cellular phones, valued at over $180,000.

The men escaped in her Tida motor car, which was later discovered abandoned elsewhere in the community.
