St James Construction Worker Mowed Down by Motorcyclist in Hanover

Jamaica News: St James Construction Worker Mowed Down by Motorcyclist in Hanover – 39-year-old, Garrett Arnold a construction worker of Granville, in St James, died from injuries he sustained after he was run over by a motorcycle in Johnson Town, Lucea, Hanover on Sunday night, February 9.

The rider of the motorcycle who was also seriously injured is presently in serious condition at the hospital.

Reports by the Lucea police are that shortly after 9:00 p.m., on Sunday,  Arnold who was walking along a section of the Johnson Town main road, in Lucea, was in the process of crossing a section of the roadway when he came across the path of a motorcycle.

The motorcycle rider lost control of the motorcycle, which collided into Arnold.

The police were summoned, and both men were rushed to the Noel Holmes hospital, where Arnold was pronounced dead and motorcyclist admitted in serious condition.
