Montego Bay, Jamaica (McKoy’s News) – Canterbury Man Murdered: The Barnett Street police in Montego Bay, St James are now carrying out investigations surrounding the shooting death of a man in the Albion community of Montego Bay in the parish.
The latest victim to be killed in Albion has been identified as 25-yr-old Andre Martin otherwise called “Oats Man” unemployed of 12½ Upper Kings Street, Montego Bay.
Reports by the police are that shortly after 3:00 p.m. on Monday, December 4, 2017, residents living at Second Street in Albion alerted them after hearing a barrage of gunshots being fired in the area. On the arrival of the police, Martin was seen lying along the roadway in a pool of blood with multiple gunshot wounds to his upper body. The victim was transported to the Cornwall Regional Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
Martin is the second person to be murdered in Albion in the past seven days and the 313 person to be murdered in St James since the start of the year.
