St. James. Jamaica (Mckoy’s News) –  Cambridge Caretaker Murdered: The Cambridge and Freeport police are now carrying out investigations behind the shooting death of a man in Cambridge community on either Thursday night, or Friday morning, June 1.

The dead man as been identified as Sean Anthony Essor, otherwise called “Shawn” 49-years-old Caretaker of Tank Road in Cambridge.

Reports by the Cambridge police are that, sometime after 11:00 pm on Thursday residents at Tank Road reported hearing a barrage of gunshots fired in the directions of Essor’s home.

About 6:00 am on Friday a family member went to his house to investigate and discovered the victim lying in a pool of blood in a section of his house.

The police were alerted and upon arrival the victim was transported to the Cornwall Regional Hospital, where he was
pronounced dead.

The police say robbery could have been the motive surrounding the shooting, as the victim inherited several houses from a decease family member and he has since met in good fortune.
