St James: Another Canterbury Man Killed in St James

St James, Jamaica (McKoy’s News) – Canterbury Man Killed: A man was shot and killed and another shot and injured in the community of Canterbury in Montego Bay, St James on Tuesday (December 5, 2017) night.

The police say the victim has been identified as 21-yr-old Jevaugn Jordine, otherwise called Lloydie, unemployed of Canterbury.

Reports are that shortly after 9:00 p.m. Jordine and the other victim were at a section of the Canterbury community known as Common, when they were ambushed by a group of men armed with handguns. The men opened fire hitting both men before making their escape in the area on foot. The Barnett Street police were summoned and on arrival, both men were taken to the Cornwall Regional Hospital where one was pronounced dead and the other treated and admitted in serious condition.

This is the second man from Canterbury to be shot and killed in the past two days.
