St James, Jamaica (McKoy’s News) – 5 Men Shot, 1 Dead in Mud Valley: The Granville police are now carrying out investigations into an incident where five men were shot by gunmen, one dead at a shop in Granville St James on Thursday (November 23, 20170 night.
Dead is 32-yr-old Kemoy Malcolm, Laborer of Mud Valley district also in Granville. Four other males who were shot and injured are now at hospital in serious condition.
Reports by the Granville police are that about 8:30 p.m. Malcolm and the other four men were at a shop in Mud Valley playing cards when a motor car drove up. Three heavily armed men jumped from the vehicle and opened fire on the group of men, shooting all five. The gunmen then made their escape in the waiting motor car.
The Granville police were summoned and on arrival, all five victims were rushed to the Cornwall Regional Hospital where Malcolm was pronounced dead and the others admitted in serious condition.
