Jamaica News, March 31, 2018 – Glendevon Man Chased and Killed
St James, Jamaica (Mckoy’s News) – One man was shot and killed by unknown assailants in Glendevon, St James on Holy Thursday.
The victim has been identified as Rogermair Atkins, a 24-year-old labourer, of a Felicity Road address, also in Glendevon.
Reports by the Barrett Street police are that shortly after 2:45 p.m., on Thursday, March 29, Atkins was standing at a section of the roadway in the Gendevon Community, in the parish of St James, when he was approached by a group of men, who chased him and shot him several times.
The police were summoned and upon arrival, Atkins was discovered lying along the roadway in a pool of blood with multiple gunshot wounds to his upper body.
He was transported to the Cornwall Regional Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
