St Elizabeth Police Seeking Help to Identify Hit-and-Run Victim

Jamaica Crime News, St Elizabeth: The Lacovia police in St. Elizabeth say they are now asking the public for their assistance, to identify a man who was killed during a hit-and-run accident, which occurred along a section of the Woodwich main road in Lacovia, on Monday, April 8.

Investigators say the victim who is believed to be of unsound mind, is of dark complexion, slim built, and about 5ft-4ins tall.

Reports reaching the Lacovia police are that about 8:30 p.m. on Monday, the male victim was walking along the Woodwich main road, when he was run over by a motorist who failed to stop.

The police were summoned on the scene and upon their arrival, the victim who was seen clad in a blue shirt and blue underwear was transported to hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
