St Elizabeth Police Launch Investigation into Motorcycle Crash, which Claimed Life of Pillion

Jamaica Crime News, St Elizabeth: The Santa Cruz Police in St Elizabeth say they are now carrying out an investigation surrounding a motor vehicle accident,  which occurred at a section of the area on Friday night, August 24 and claimed the life of a female pillion.

Dead is Shaneek Fagon, 25-year-old of a Santa Cruz, address.

Reports by the police are that about 9:30 p.m. on Sunday night, Fagon was travelling on a motorcycle as a pillion.

On reaching a section of the roadway,  the driver lost control of the motorcycle which collided with a taxi motor car, which was travelling in the opposite direction.

Fagon and the driver were thrown on the pavement and sustained head and body injuries.

They have both rushed to the Black River Hospital where Fagon was pronounced dead and the motorcycle rider admitted in serious but stable condition.
