Jamaica News, April 6, 2018 – St Elizabeth Motor Vehicle Accident Kills Farmer  

St Elizabeth, Jamaica (McKoy’s News) – A 38-year-old farmer of St Elizabeth, died from injuries he sustained in a motor vehicle accident in the parish on Wednesday night, April 4.

The deceased has been identified as Stephen Simms, farmer of Hopewell District in St Elizabeth.

Reports by the Black River are that shortly after 8:45 p.m. on Wednesday, Simms was riding his motorcycle along a section of the Mountain Side main road when he lost control of the vehicle, which crashed into a Toyota Corolla motor car that was traveling in the opposite direction.

Simms sustained head and body injuries.

He was rushed to the Black River hospital where he was pronounced dead.
