Jamaica News, April 3, 2018 – St Elizabeth Man Charged

St Elizabeth, Jamaica (McKoy’s News) – A 21-year-old man who hails from the parish of St Elizabeth was slapped with criminal charges on Monday, in connection with robbery of a prominent high school in the parish.

Charged with Breaking and Entering is Christopher Campbell of Lacovia District also in St Elizabeth.

Reports by the police are that about 8:00 a.m. on Friday, March 2, teachers at the Holland Primary School turned up at the institution and discovered that it was broken into.

The police were informed and immediately an investigation was carried out, which revealed that a television set along with groceries and other items were stolen.

After several days of investigation, the lawmen went to a house occupied by the accused and carried out a search. The search resulted in the discovery of several of the stolen items.

Campbell was subsequently arrested and slapped with charges on Monday. He is booked to appear in court later this week.
