65-year-old, Vincroft Nephew, a farmer of Neil Mountain, in Rosehall, St Elizabeth, is believed to have committed suicide by hanging himself in his community on Sunday, January 6th.

Reports by the police are that left his home about 10:00 a.m., on Sunday, and told family members that he was going to his farm.

When he did not return,  his relatives got curious and formed a search party, and they searched several sections of bushes.

Hours later they stumbled upon Nephew’s body, which was hanging from a length of rope, suspended from the branch of a tree.

The police were summoned, and upon arrival, the body was cut down and he was pronounced dead.
