St Catherine Woman Sentenced for Ganja in Court
Jamaica Crime News, St Catherine: A St Catherine woman who pleaded guilty to drug-related charges when she appeared in the Corporate Area Criminal Court on Thursday, June 7, was ordered to pay $350, 000 or serve six months in prison
The accused Sophia Dunn, of a Central Village address, was arrested and charged on February 27, 2018, after she was caught trying to smuggle 276 pounds through the Norman Manley International Airport in Kingston to Antigua.
Man Held with Over 490 Lbs of Ganja in Portmore
Dunn pleaded guilty to Possession of Ganja and Conspiracy to export ganja.
The accused was given until July 10th, to pay the fines or do the prison time.
