Jamaica News: Sixty-seven year-old Hamilton Gooden, of Gregory Park in St Catherine, died at the hospital on Monday, September 23, from injuries he sustained in a motor vehicle accident which occurred along the Water Works main road, in Westmoreland on the weekend.
Reports by the Whithorn police are that Gooden was traveling along the Water Works main road in a Nissan truck, owned by Bacchas Engineering Works in Old Harbour.
On reaching a section of the roadway he lost control of the vehicle which crashed into a motor car being driven by Sharon Gaynor, of a Belmont address in Westmoreland.
The impact of the crash resulted in Gooden, along with Gaynor and three passengers who were traveling in the female’s car, being admitted to hospital in serious condition.
Gooden was then airlifted to the Kingston Public Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
