Latest Jamaica News, St Catherine: The Spanish Town Police say they are yet to come up with a motive to assist in their investigations, surrounding the gruesome killings of two women, whose decomposing bodies were found at a premises on Bonanza Crescent, in the parish on Sunday, July 21.
The victims have been identified as 28-year-old Alexine Rodney, otherwise called ‘Shasha’ from Bonanza Crescent, while the other was identified only as ” Aleeyah.
In the meanwhile, the lawmen say a small child believing to be the baby of one of the slain female, and who was found alone with the two dead women, is recuperating at hospital.
Reports by the Spanish Town police are that last Sunday afternoon, residents living in the community reported smelling a foul odour coming from the premises, and went to investigate.
Upon carrying out a search of the house, they stumbled upon the bodies of the women, and summoned the police.
Upon the arrival of the lawmen, the scene was processed and the bodies removed from the scene.
The police have still not revealed how both females were killed.
