Jamaica News, March 19, 2018 – St Catherine Man Wanted         

St Catherine, Jamaica (McKoy’s News) – The Spanish Town police in St Catherine said they are still in search of a man who used a piece of lumber to inflict wounds to the head of a popular carpenter in the parish on Friday March 16, 2018 killing him on the spot.

The deceased has been identified as 51-year-old Allan Winter of Belise Heights in Gordon Pen, St Catherine.

Reports by the police are that about 6:00 p.m. on Friday, Winter was at his furniture shop in Gordon Pen when he and the accused got involved in an argument allegedly over furniture. The man reportedly reached for a piece of lumber which he used to inflict several wounds to the head of the carpenter which resulted in a section of his skull being bashed in. The accused then fled the scene and has not been seen since.

The police were summoned and on arrival, the wounded man was transported to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
