St Catherine Man Stabbed to Death by Aunt’s Lover During Dispute

A man was allegedly stabbed by his aunt’s lover on Wednesday night (January 5), during an altercation at a house in the Church Pen Housing Scheme in Old Habour, St Catherine.
The deceased has been identified as 22-year-old Dontae Gordon, also of Church Pen Housing Scheme in Old Harbour.
According to reports, Gordon and his aunt got involved in an altercation shortly after 11:00 p.m., during which her boyfriend intervened.
Gordon and the man then got into a fight, however, the issue was swiftly resolved by family members.
Gordon, who was allegedly equipped with a knife, then launched another attack on his aunt’s partner, stabbing him in the hand.
During a struggle for the weapon, the wounded man allegedly stabbed Gordon in the upper body.
Both injured men were rushed to a hospital, where Gordon died while receiving treatment.
