St Catherine Man Facing Quadruple Murder Charge Found Guilty

Jamaica Crime News, St Catherine: A St Catherine man who is on trial for a quadruple murder which occurred in Mickleton District in Linstead on August 20, 2014, was found guilty when he appeared in the Home Circuit Court in downtown Kingston earlier this week.

It is further reported that when the accused Simeon Miller appeared in Court, it did not take long for the jury to return a guilty verdict, based on the fact that the accused was convicted on eyewitness evidence.

It is reported that on August 20, 2014, Miller and two other men went to a house in Linstead where they shot the occupants to death.

Those killed were identified as, 78-year-old Garfield Simpson, 20-year-old Shanna-Kay Simpson, 25-year-old Reicodel Jackson and 43-year-old Dean Pratt.

Following an investigation by the police, Miller was taken into custody and slapped with four counts of murder.

He is booked to reappear in court next week where he will be sentenced.
