St Catherine Man Facing Murder Charges to Appear in Court Today

Jamaica Crime News, St Catherine: Marlon Bryan, the 39-year-old labourer of Dempshire Pen in St. Catherine, who was arrested and charged with the November 17, gun murder of 53-year-old Lenford Powell, Welder also of Dempshire Pen, is scheduled to appear in the St. Catherine Parish Court, today, December 4.

Reports by the St Catherine North police are that on November 17, Powell was at his home when armed men kicked open the door of his house and opened fire hitting him multiple times to his upper body.

The police were summoned and upon arrival,  the wounded man was transported to hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Investigators carried out a series of investigations in the area and it resulted in Bryan being taken into custody and subsequently charged with murder on November 23.
