Jamaica Crime News, St Catherine: The Spanish Town police in St Catherine say they are now probing the circumstances which led to the shooting death of a popular carpenter in the parish on Friday, October 19.

Dead is Christopher Lewis,  51-year-old carpenter who hailed from Worcester Road, also in Spanish Town.

Reports by the police are that about 7:45 p.m. on Friday, residents in Horizon Park raised an alarm after gunshots were heard, and they stumbled upon Lewis’s body.

The police were summoned and upon arrival, Lewis was discovered suffering from gunshot wounds, lying along the roadway in a pool of blood.

He was transported to hospital where he was pronounced dead
