Jamaica Crime News, St Ann: The Brown’s Town Police in the parish of St Ann, say they are asking members of the public for their assistance, to identify the driver behind a hit and run accident, which claimed the life of a man in the community on Saturday, October 6.
The deceased has been identified as Randy Harris, 40-year-old laborer of Wilberforce district, also in Browns Town.
Reports by the police are that about 5:40 a.m. on Saturday, motorists using the Wilberforce main road in Brown’s Town raised an alarm, after discovering the body of a man lying in a pool of blood, along the roadway.
The lawmen rushed to the scene and it was discovered that the victim, who was later identified to be Harris, was mowed down by a motorist who failed to stop.
The scene was processed and the victim pronounced dead at hospital.
