St Ann Police Release Identity of Man Murdered with Popular Entertainer Buck1

Latest Jamaica News, St Ann (McKoy’s News): Man Murdered with Popular Entertainer Buck1Investigators within the parish of St Ann say they have now made a breakthrough into the identity of the second murder victim, who was shot and killed with 29-year-old Lance Whyte, a popular entertainer of Parry Town, St Ann, on Monday morning, August 26.

He has been identified as 35-year-old Kemar Thompson, also of Parry Town.

Reports by the police are that both men were in their community when they were ambushed and shot by armed men.

The police were summoned and upon their arrival, Whyte and Thompson were both transported to hospital where they were pronounced dead.

Whyte who was a prominent reggae artist recent came to stardom after recording a number of collaboration singles with popular artist Charley Blacks.
