The Moneague police in the parish of St Ann, say they are now carrying out investigations into the death of a man, who is suspected to have committed suicide at his home in Moneague on Wednesday evening. February 27.

The deceased has been identified as 25-year-old Owayne Degayle, laborer of Clapham district, also in Moneague, St Ann.

Reports by the police are that about 3:00 p.m., on Wednesday residents living in the community stumbled upon Degayle’s body and raised an alarm.

The police were summoned and upon their arrival, the body was discovered hanging from the branch of a tree in his yard, by a piece of rope which was tied around his neck.

The scene was processed and he was pronounced dead
