Jamaica News, April 19, 2018 – St Ann Mother and Son Charged 

St Ann, Jamaica (McKoy’s News) – The police in the parish of St Ann have now reported that criminal charges have been officially laid against a woman and her son, who were found with an illegal firearm in their possession at their home on Wednesday morning, April 18.

Charged with illegal possession of firearm and ammunition are 56-year-old Angella Edwards,  Sales Clerk of Mansfield Heights and her 30-year-old son Tevroy Walker.

Reports by the police are that about 6:15 a.m. on Wednesday, the police carried out an operation at premises in Mansfield Heights.

During the operation, a house occupied by the accused woman and her son was searched and the weapon, a Caranda 9-mm semi-automatic pistol with a magazine containing 12 live 9 mm rounds was discovered hidden under the kitchen counter.

Both accused were arrested and subsequently charged.
