Jamaica News, March 23, 2018 – St Andrew Woman Killed
St Andrew, Jamaica (McKoy’s News) – Moesha Johnson of a Red Hills Road, St Andrew address has succumbed to her injuries sustained on Thursday morning, March 22.
The male is yet to be identified, however, Mckoy’s News understands that he is still in hospital in critical condition.
It was reported that while they were walking in the area, a car drove up to them and opened fire. They were both rushed to hospital, where Ms Johnson died.
The shooting is alleged to be in connection with an ongoing territory war. According to reports, there has been a long-standing feud with persons on Verene Avenue, off Cassia Park Road, in the Red Hill, St Andrew Area.
Residents blocked a section of Red Hills Road on Thursday afternoon, March 21, in protest of the shooting. One resident called on the Opposition leader, Dr Peter Phillips, who is the Member of Parliament for East Central St Andrew to intervene before the situation worsens.
