St Andrew Police Seeking Public Assistance to Locate Suspect, in Lawrence Tavern Shooting

Jamaica Crime News, Kingston: The Constant Spring police are now seeking the public assistance to locate a man, who they say can assist them in their investigation, surrounding the shooting death of a man, at Lawrence Tavern, in St Andrew, on Tuesday night, June 18.

The investigators have not yet released the name of the man who is being sought, but they have indicated that he is wanted for questioning, with the death of 25-year-old Clyde Palmer, otherwise called “Keatieman” of Hall Green district, also in Lawrence Tavern.

Reports by the police are that about 9:50 p.m., Palmer was talking to another man, while at a shop in his community, when a man armed with a handgun approached them, and opened fire.

The police were summoned and upon arrival, Palmer who was shot multiple times, was transported to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
