Spot Valley Gunshot Victim Dies at Hospital

Detectives from the Major Investigation Division at Area One are reporting that a third victim who was shot and injured, during a shooting incident in Spot Valley community, St James, on Saturday afternoon November 30, have died at hospital.
This has taken the number to three persons, who have been in the incident where two men were fatally shot
The victim who succumb to injuries at hospital has been identified as 36-year-old Devroy Chance of Spot Valley, while 32-year-old Leonard Mais, Cook shop operator, and 27-year-old Jason Reid, fruit vendor, both of the same community were gunned down at the scene of the shooting.
Reports by the police are that shortly after 4:00 p.m., on Saturday, Mais and a group of customers were seated outside his shop when men travelling on board a SUV drove to the community, and open fire hitting Mais and three other men multiple times.
The gunmen then sped away in the directions of Rhyne Park community, but after passing the area, they again opened fire on Reid who was selling ackees on a shop paza along the roadway.
The police were summoned and upon their arrival, the injured men were rushed to hospital, where Mais and Reid were pronounced dead, and Chance and the other two victims admitted to hospital in serious conditions.
Chance succumb to his injuries on Saturday afternoon, while the other two victims are in stable condition.
