Jamaica News, Clarendon: Slain Clarendon Businessman and Sports Administrator Brandon Murray was laid to rest on Saturday.
The thanksgiving service for his life was held at the Kendal Camp and Conference Centre in Manchester.
Among the scores of mourners were members of the football fraternity-including players from former Premier League outfit Sporting Central Academy which he co-founded.
Murray was shot and killed by gunmen on the grounds of the Mayfair Hotel on June 10 in Kingston.
He was 48 and left behind 4 children.
His longtime friend Brando Hayden was among those who paid tributes.
He remembered Murray as a man of God, who lived to help better the lives of those he came in contact with.
